What is Seti@home ?

SETI@home
is a scientific experiment that harnesses the power of hundreds of thousands of
Internet-connected computers in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence
(SETI).
|
You can participate by running a free program that downloads and analyzes radio
telescope data. There's a small but captivating possibility that your computer
will detect the faint murmur of a civilization beyond Earth.

The SetiStatsMonitor
It started out as a
littla app that re-launches the seti@home "command line executable" for
Win98/WinNT. (Get
it here!)
(this cmd-line exe sometimes unexpectedly stops, loosing whole week-ends of
precious CPU time!)
Then, while we were at it, we added a nice little feature that lets you monitor
your progression in the seti@home charts (Top100,
Countries,
Groups
Top100).
We used it, we liked it and thought it would be nice for you to have it :)
So, here it is, for you to download.
